BIOGRAPHY

Wil Massara is a dynamic Australian social entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and youth advocate who has dedicated his life to empowering young people. From a young age, Wil's entrepreneurial spirit was evident, launching his first business at the age of eleven. This venture, an aviation website designed to alleviate the stress of air travel, garnered international attention and marked the beginning of his journey as an entrepreneur. Wil's journey into entrepreneurship began during a family holiday when he recognised the stress his family experienced at the airport. This sparked the idea for "Planeapidea: The Wikipedia of Planes." By age 15, Wil had already partnered with major airlines like Qantas and Singapore Airlines, learning the fundamentals of business, branding, and partnerships along the way. In 2018, at just 15 years old, Wil founded the Youth Leadership Academy Australia (YLAA) with the mission to educate, equip, and empower young people. YLAA quickly grew to become the largest youth-led leadership provider in Australia, positively impacting over 30,000 young individuals and earning the trust of more than 1,100 schools nationwide. The academy's programs, including annual leadership conferences and school-based initiatives, focus on building self-confidence, leadership skills, and long-term personal and professional development for young Australians. Wil's expertise in youth engagement and leadership has made him a sought-after consultant for local and state governments, as well as prominent organisations. He has played a pivotal role in designing and delivering youth engagement strategies, ensuring that the voices of young people are heard and valued. His advocacy extends to road safety, where he collaborates with the Road Safety Commission WA to deliver impactful leadership summits aimed at fostering safer road behaviors among young drivers. In addition to his entrepreneurial and consultancy work, Wil co-hosts "Podclass," a podcast dedicated to teachers and educators. Through this platform, he leads discussions on innovative educational strategies, Gen Z perspectives, and the future of education, providing valuable insights and practical advice to educators across Australia. Wil's impact goes beyond his business achievements. He is committed to creating meaningful societal change, recently transitioning YLAA into a social enterprise with 100% of profits dedicated to funding youth suicide prevention programs. This move underscores his unwavering dedication to addressing critical issues facing young people today. Despite not completing Year 12, Wil's relentless pursuit of knowledge and personal growth led him to complete his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at the age of 21. This achievement reflects his commitment to entrepreneurial excellence and continuous learning, serving as an inspiration to you
